LINKIN PARK, ROB ZOMBIE Confirmed For U.K.'s DOWNLOAD Festival

LINKIN PARK and ROB ZOMBIE have been confirmed for next year's edition of the Download festival, set to take place June 10-12, 2011 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. Also scheduled to appear are the reunited SYSTEM OF A DOWN and Orange County, California's AVENGED SEVENFOLD.

Commented LINKIN PARK frontman Chester Bennington: "We are very excited to be playing Download again next year. It's one of the best festivals in the world and it's always an honor to play in front of such a great crowd. We can't wait!"

A limited number of weekend-with-camping tickets for Download 2011 went on sale on Friday, December 3 at DownloadFestival.co.uk. This "early-bird" offer ends at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 20, and includes three-day and five-day camping options. The popular Download RIP packages also went on sale on December 3, and include yurtels, pod pads, tipis, kip and kits, yurtys, gypsy caravans, kabin kreek, camping caravans and even a luxury bus.
